This is the strangest Task Manger that I have ever seen. When this happens just reboot and move on.
This machine is still acting very odd though......hmm

That looks like what happens when you run out of GDI resources.
Memory leak?
Could be.
I have since rebooted and its all fine now.
Its the Microsoft two step solution.
1) Shrug
2) Reboot
